JUMEIRAH Group, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, has opened its first hotel in continental Europe with team at Jumeirah Frankfurt, Germany, welcoming the first guests on August 1 and a grand opening scheduled for September.
The five-star-hotel is located in the centre of Frankfurt at the Thurn-und-Taxis square, close to the business district, opera and shopping streets. Spread over 25 floors, the 218 rooms and suites have a minimum size of 35 sq m, making them the largest in Frankfurt. Each room features an original work by German contemporary artist Hartwig Ebersbach.
The hotel’s signature restaurant, Max on One, is managed by executive chef Martin Steiner, previously of the Savoy Hotel in London and Hotel Adlon in Berlin.
The lobby bar stands near the chocolaterie on the ground floor which offers the finest French patisseries and specialist chocolate confections.
With its state-of-the-art equipment, Jumeirah Frankfurt brings in-room technology to the next level. Instead of the conventional air-conditioning technology, the hotel features a hybrid room tempering system using body heat detectors and motion sensors that regulate all in-room energy consumption efficiently and sustainably.
With its abundance of natural daylight, spacious meeting rooms and state-of-the-art facilities, Jumeirah Frankfurt is also targeting the meetings and events market. The 364-sq-m ballroom can be divided into two smaller areas and for functions and banquets, four meeting rooms accommodating between 30 and 100 persons are available.
Guests of Jumeirah Frankfurt also have access to Jumeirah’s signature spa, Talise, where stand-alone bathtubs, tropical rain showers and Zen-inspired relaxation areas add an Asian touch.
