FORAS Tourism is the latest initiative from Foras International Investment, the investment arm of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC).
It has chosen to base its headquarters in Dubai and will be focusing operations on the UAE, Indonesia, Iran, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt.
Foras Tourism will be launching an integrated configurable and dynamic virtual online travel platform by August 2011, utilising up-to-date technology with a complex solution and easy-access system offering comprehensive, exclusive wholesale packages for hotel bookings, flights, visas, sightseeing and tickets.
The company will introduce a complete range and consolidated online travel services in a unique virtual travel environment, all in real-time inventory with instant availability, pricing, booking and online confirmation.
