Mövenpick lures summer travellers

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has announced its 2011 summer offers under the umbrella ‘100 per cent summer fun and 25 per cent extra savings’. Guest staying at more than 40 properties across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa receive an additional discount up to 25 per cent in offer which is valid throughout the summer and Ramadan. Travellers looking for shopping and world-class entertainment can select one of the four hotels in Dubai. For a leisure experience, there are five participating properties in Jordan. Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Beirut is the place to be for a vibrant getaway, while for a traditional Middle Eastern experience, guests can choose from properties in Qatar, Kuwait or Saudi Arabia. The summer offer is also valid in exciting international locations such as Zurich, Geneva, Prague, Amsterdam, Berlin, Istanbul, Phuket, Saigon and Tunis.

The Balmoral targets Arab guests

Rocco Forte’s Balmoral Hotel with its luxurious rooms and suites overlooking Edinburgh Castle, a five-star kids’ programme (suitable for all ages), an award-winning spa and a Michelin-starred restaurant is reaching out to Middle East residents with a special summer deal offering four nights for the price of three on suite bookings.

Additionally, Middle Eastern visitors booking six nights in any of the hotel’s elegant guest rooms – except suites – will only pay for a total of five nights inclusive.  Nearby attractions include Edinburgh Castle, Dynamic Earth, a 12th Century ‘Old Town’ with The Royal Mile, VIP tours of Holyrood Palace as well as personal shopping tours of Harvey Nichols.

Until the end of August, Four Seasons’ 12 unique resorts have come together to offer this summer’s most exciting travel experiences with an exclusive contest which will see 12 lucky winners awarded the trip of their dreams.

Family options at Dusit Princess

The Dusit Princess City Centre, Dubai, has created two summer offers designed especially for families. Stay four pay three allows families to stay for four nights but pay only for three, while those requiring extra space can enjoy the roominess of a two-bedroom suite for the whole family with the XL family stay promotion. Both offers include a daily buffet breakfast for two adults and two children as well as a complimentary two-way airport transfer and a late check out until 3pm. The hotel has also tied up with Dubai Dolphinarium to allow guests a 20-per-cent discount at the facility. The hotel is also providing free internet connection throughout the promotion period which runs until August 31.

Khareef offer Salalah Marriott

The Salalah Marriott Resort in Mirbat, Oman, kicks off the upcoming monsoon period with the coolest summer rates for the Khareef season in the Dhofar region. From July 1 to 31, 2011, the property offers a rate of OMR49 ($127) per person in a deluxe double room including breakfast. And in a special for the Monsoon Season the hotel is also offering a complimentary daily transfer to the Salalah Festival Grounds.
