Wider selection in co-operation with NetJets Europe FAST, exclusive and flexible – the Lufthansa Private Jet brand has won over numerous customers with a preference for individual travel in superlative comfort since the service was introduced in 2005. Now, spurred by rising demand, the service is to be expanded in exclusive co-operation with NetJets Europe, Europe’s leading private jet operator. Bookings in Europe will be accepted at short notice up to 10 hours prior to flight departure. Moreover, Lufthansa Private Jet is planning to expand in the Middle East and the US in the course of the year. Aside from a significantly enhanced product with superior business jets including small, medium and large cabins, Lufthansa Private Jet customers will profit from a new and more transparent pricing policy. They can book an optional limousine service to and from their flight or have a flight attendant for in-flight service on board when travelling in the service’s mid to large-size jets. The existing fixed price system based on the aircraft size and route but independent of the number of passengers will be continued. The aircraft available in the service vary in size and range to suit individual requirements. The smallest category includes, for example, the Hawker 400 XP for up to seven passengers with a maximum range of 2,161 km. The Cessna Citation XLS can transport up to seven travellers over a range of 3,305 km. The largest type of aircraft, such as the Gulfstream G 550, accommodates 14 passengers and, with a range of 11,911 km, is suitable for intercontinental routes. The aircraft can be booked either individually for point-to-point flights or for seamless connections with long-haul flights in the global route network operated by Lufthansa and Swiss.
