DANAT Hotels & Resorts (DH&R), the hotel management division of Abu Dhabi’s National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels, will showcase its newest offerings and an upgrade to one of its most popular properties at this year’s Arabian Travel Market (ATM).
The group manages a portfolio of four and five-star properties in Abu Dhabi, UAE – Danat Al Ain Resort, Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, Al Raha Beach Hotel, Tilal Liwa Hotel, Sands Hotel and Dhafra Beach Hotel.
The Al Raha Beach is currently undergoing an extension programme to create 147 additional rooms and three new specialty restaurants as well as upgrading its spa and improving landscaping around the swimming pool and existing La Piscine restaurant.
In April last year DH&R signed an agreement to manage Sands Hotel in Abu Dhabi a 257 room downtown property. The hotel, which is located in the heart of the city, has started a major renovation which will finish in the third quarter of 2011.
In January the company began managing Danat Al Ain Resort, a 216 room property located in Al Ain, the famous ‘Garden City’, which is a haven of peace and tranquility while just a five minute drive from Al Ain town centre.
A spokeswoman said: “Danat Hotels & Resorts will continue to focus on guest satisfaction in all its hotels and to source more hotels through management agreements in the UAE and abroad building Danat brand awareness and fulfilling guest demand in Abu Dhabi which has become a target destination for both corporate and leisure visitors from the US, the UK, Saudi Arabia, France, China and Russia.
“We will participate in ATM in Dubai, Leisure in Moscow and WTM in London in order to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business and to showcase the many features of our hotels and build many new potential partnerships.
“As Danat Hotels & Resorts we are going to showcase our group summer promotions, our newly joined managed hotels, Sands Hotel and Danat Al Ain Resort, and the extension programme of Al Raha Beach Hotel.
“At ATM we meet new clients and gain more business opportunities and exchange ideas with our peers. Attendees can do the equivalent of many months’ work in four days!”
