RIYADH will welcome travel trade professionals from across the region and around the world when it hosts the fourth Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market (STTIM) to be held at the Riyadh International Exhibition Centre from March 27 to 31.

Organised by the Saudi Commission for Tourism & Antiquities (SCTA) the event will include a conference featuring speakers on subjects such as finance, recruitment, training and tourism investment in the kingdom.

Investment is seen as a focal point of tourism development within Saudi Arabia and is given particular importance since the industry is recognised as generating both economical gains and employment and in recent years the SCTA has formulated plans for the development of a number of tourism destinations for which it has sought investment.

STTIM will also focus on the issues of the integrated tourism experience concerning supply and demand, as well as development.
