MORE than 40 days before the eagerly awaited Horeca event gets underway, figures released by Hospitality Services show that by the end of 2010, a staggering 95 per cent of the show was already booked out hailing the  event an instant success well before its start date.

Opening its doors from March 29 to April 1 at Beirut’s BIEL, Lebanon, Horeca 2011, is the 18th edition of an event which has proved itself as the definitive venue for the foodservice and hospitality industry to meet face to face with people from across the region and beyond.

The exhibition will welcome exhibitors from 11 countries: France, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Poland, Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkey and the UAE and as the event show draws closer, this number is expected to increase.

For the first time, France is formally involved in Horeca 2011 with its contribution ‘la france a l’honneur’ and 15 French companies expected to be grouped under the France Pavilion to promote French expertise in the field of food, wines and spirits, products, materials and services of hospitality management.

Live exhibitions, competitions and meetings will all be on offer including the Live Junior Chef Competition, Lebanese Bartenders Competition, World Culinary Heritage  in the Hospitality Culinary Salon and workshops and sessions.

With three shows, five pavilions and eight daily events all under one massive roof,  Horeca 2011 promises an ideal opportunity for thousands of prospective contacts to network and increase business opportunities over the four-day period.
