To support the relief efforts in Pakistan, Etihad Airways staff have donated funds to the Emirates International Mobile Humanitarian Hospital (EIMHH) based in Pakistan, enabling the purchase of new cardiac monitors and paediatric medication.

Gulf Air recently celebrated Bahraini Women’s Day at the airline’s headquarters in Muharraq. Hundreds of Gulf Air female employees were greeted by the airline’s CEO Samer Majali, who handed them red roses and cut a special cake to mark the occasion, which is held every year under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.

Hundreds of virtual fans of Gulf Air’s popular Facebook page came together at Al Riwaq Art Space in a unique social network event organised by Bahrain’s national carrier at which winners of the airline’s recent photo and video competition were awarded flight tickets as prizes.

Emirates Group and wasl Asset Management Group have extended the operation and management agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide for Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort owned by the Emirates Group as well as renewing operational agreements for Le Meridien Dubai, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Le Meridien Fairway and the Westin Dubai until 2025.
