ABU DHABI’S largest hotel, the Grand Millennium Al Wahda opened its doors in November and bona fide members of the travel to trade are being offered the chance to stay for just Dh395 ($107) per night so they can get to know the property.
The hotel has 850 rooms, six signature bars and restaurants, the largest health club and spa in the city, extensive underground parking and an ideal central location and general manager Michael Sorgenfrey said occupancies have been healthy since opening.
“We are delighted with the reception we have received from the local market as well as our international business partners since the hotel opened,” he said. “But we fully recognise the value of our travel industry partners in building on our successful beginnings. For this reason, we are extending a superb rate to bona fide travel industry professionals to come and experience the property and all its facilities for themselves. In this way, travel industry professionals will be better equipped to recommend Abu Dhabi to their clients, as well as differentiating Grand Millennium Al Wahda from other hotels in the city.”
The rate is per superior room per night, for single or double occupancy, including breakfast and all service charges and government taxes to travel agency professionals holding valid IATA identification until December 2011.
Advance reservations are required for the travel agent offer.
