BUYERS

It is going very suceessfully. The amount of contacts I have made has been good.

The market we are looking at is, of course, the South Africa market, but we are also interested in the Middle East such as Dubai. We also interested in Asia especially China and Thailand. Europe at the moment is not that expensive with the Euro and also South America is very big for us.

– Samuel Herman, HRG South Africa

I feel that this year is better than last. I feel that business is picking up again. Being based in Cairo, the Middle East is my interest  but I am also looking at Europe.

– Akram Mohamed, EET Cairo Egypt

The show has been good. The organisation is good particularly the hotels and the transport to and from the event.
I am looking at incentives from the UAE into Europe, America, the Far East and Africa.

– Rahul Sasidharan, BCD Travel Dubai

EXHIBITORS

It has been very busy with a lot of pre-scheduled appointments. We are very happy. There have been a lot of new and interesting clients and a lot of clients with specific business requests not only from markets that we have been working with for years, but from new markets like China, Russia and  Brazil.

– Mark Burri, Zurich Tourism Conventions Bureau

The show has been good, today has been a lot busier than yesterday. I’m delighted that we have had a couple of solid inquiries with definite dates. The Russian and German markets have been particularly strong and this is where the inquires have come from.

– Tamara Kobioke, Hotel Missoni Edinburgh (Day 2)

We are very pleased so far.  Yesterday was a bit slow due to the flight problems in Europe, but today has been better with interest from Europe which is a traditional market for Doha. We are also hoping to move into some more newer markets as a country.

–Christopher Tutty, Swiss-BelHotel Doha (Day 2)

The show is great – I think I have been the most busy on the Abu Dhabi Stand!  The interest  is coming from Germany, France  and Italy and the Spanish have started to also show interest so I am very pleased with the event.
