WITH only three months to go, Blossom Japan is gearing up for an exciting winter in Japan early next year.
Amanresorts, Abercrombie & Kent/Akorn, Emirates Palace, Fairmont Raffles Swissotel, dmAFRICA and Fancourt are amongst the exhibitors that have recently signed up to the event.
Carolyn Turnbull, general manager – global sales of Amanresorts says: “With our long standing commitment and appreciation of the Japan market, it’s our feeling that Blossom Japan will be the perfect forum in which to showcase the diverse experiences our resorts have to offer. From such destinations as Thailand or the Kingdom of Bhutan, to those in Indonesia, China or Philippines, our properties can be presented at Blossom Japan in a way which links them to the unique vision that continues to guide our growth.”
For almost two decades, dmAFRICA has been providing unique and highly imaginative experiences for discerning clients of the world’s travel industry to Africa and the Atlantic and Indian Ocean Islands.
Asked what the company hopes to gain from attending Blossom Japan, managing director Daniel Brown said: “We believe we are entering the realms of a higher wealth level, where we will meet agents with clients who are less receptive to normal marketing channels.
“We understand that, with a chance to meet these types at Blossom Japan, they have the interaction with the customer we seek to service and we feel this is the most exclusive of all environments where we will engage in communication between high-class individuals.”
Refined Resort Residences, a high-end travel company based in Japan, will be one of the top buyers attending Blossom Japan 2011. The company works exclusively through invitation-only-type marketing of its private hotel residences into the high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth channels throughout Japan and Asia via its network of private banks, wealth managers and institutional investors.
Robert Rann, president and CEO of Refined Resort Residences, says: “We are very excited to be participating in next year’s Blossom Japan event. We look forward to connect and reconnect with many of our luxury brand partners and gain greater insight into their future development plans in Japan and abroad and how we can help them be successful.”
The invitation-only event will be held from January 18 to 21, 2011.
Blossom Japan will commence with a full day conference followed by a three-day exhibition at the Tokyo International Forum, centrally located in Ginza. Social events are planned each night to facilitate further networking opportunities for everyone. And finally, one free day in Tokyo is also included in the package to allow all participants to experience the best that Tokyo and the surrounding regions have to offer.
