Worldhotels looks to Brazilian growth

WORLDHOTELS, the international group which brings together independent, unique and regional properties, has signed an agreement with Othon Hotels of Brazil for five new affiliate properties.

The new additions bring Worldhotels’ growing global portfolio to 450 affiliate properties in 250 destinations and 65 countries worldwide.

As well as the five hotels in Brazil, the group also has two in Argentina and it is looking to double its South American properties by the end of the year.

Othon Hotels has a five-brand portfolio comprising 26 properties with 2,000 guestrooms located in Brazil, Portugal and the US.

The five hotels are the 572-room Rio Othon Palace, the tallest luxury hotel in Rio de Janeiro, the recently refurbished, 195-room Leme Othon Palace and the 100-room Olinda Othon Classic, both also in Rio de Janeiro, the Bahia Othon Palace in Salvador and the 287-room luxury Belo Horizonte Othon Palace at Belo Horizonte.
