YOUR success is our business, that’s the message from the Gulf Hotel, Bahrain’s only locally owned and operated hotel which marked its 40 year history on the island by winning the award for Bahrain’s Leading Hotel at the Middle East edition of the World Travel Awards earlier this year.
The independent five-star property rests in the heart of Manama, directly opposite the city’s majestic Grand Mosque and a stroll away from the world famous restaurants in the Adliya region.
Situated just 15 minutes from Bahrain International Airport, the hotel is in a prime position for leisure and business travellers alike, but with the co-located Gulf Convention Centre, its business offering makes it one the most sought-after events venues on the island.
With a multi-national, multi-lingual staff, the Gulf Hotel prides itself on offering a traditional, smiling Bahraini welcome from the moment guests arrive. A team of professional staff, many of whom are on first name terms with regular guests, are equipped with a desire to create a personal atmosphere and it is this personalisation that sets the Gulf Hotel apart.
Featuring 357 elegant guest rooms and 97 deluxe apartment suites for longer staying guests at the exclusive Gulf Executive Residence, the hotel is the address at which to be based when visiting Bahrain. This landmark venue, which underwent an enviable refurbishment in 2007, offers guests an outstanding choice of accommodation.
