BA marks increased regional growth with Ramadan fares

FRESH from the success of its recent all-cabin sale and buoyed by increased regional demand, global premium airline British Airways is showing no signs of slowing down, announcing a reduction in fares to mark the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The discount fares are available to August 31 and are valid for travel up until March 31, 2011, in Club World business class, World Traveller Plus premium economy and World Traveller economy cabins.

With return trips to Europe - including all taxes, fees and surcharges - available for as little as Dh 2,255, ($613)  and to the US for AED 3,655, ($995) British Airways is confident the sale will resonate well with customers who are due to travel from now until next spring.
Paolo De Renzis, the airline’s area commercial manager, Middle East, said: “British Airways is happy to be offering all of its customers great value for money during a time of increased capacity and growth in the market.
“Recent increases in demand show that we are firmly on the road to recovery in the Middle East and, whilst there is still some way to go, we will continue to seek opportunities to reward our passengers' loyalty.”

Pledging to operate 100 per cent of long-haul flights in the event of any further industrial action, the UK carrier has continued to see a rise in regional passengers this year, reaffirming the region as a focal growth point for the carrier. This winter will see increased services in both Riyadh and Dubai to six per week and three per day, respectively.
