Marriott partners with Hertz
Following on the comprehensive master agreement between Marriott International and Hertz Corporation, the Marriott Executive Apartments Manama Bahrain has recently entered into a co-operation agreement with Hertz Bahrain to provide transportation and car rentals for the property’s guests.
The agreement provides a framework for collaboration between the two institutions to deliver their best services to Marriott Executive Apartments Manama’s guests by providing all ranges of the latest model vehicles, including 4x4 and luxury cars at special rates.
Zighy Bay triumphs

Resta to manage Al Qasr, Yemen
Resta Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of contract to manage the 239-room Al Qasr Hotel & Resort in the city of Aden, Yemen.
The company was launched in June 2008 and aims to have 15 properties under management by 2013.
Al Qasr Hotel is scheduled for opening in November this year to host the 20th Gulf Cup Football Championship 2010.
New online system for Accor
Booking a room via accorhotels.com, or any of the websites for the group’s Sofitel, Pullman, Mercure, Novotel, Suitehotel, all seasons, ibis and Etap Hotel brands, has become a whole new experience with the launch of a new search engine and online booking system.
All services offered by Accor’s hotels are displayed directly on the homepage to ensure its customers find exactly what they are looking for, in just a few clicks. Web users can now select their hotel and room type easily thanks to a range of new features which include an interactive map, showing hotel locations and descriptions, and an advanced, intelligent search engine allowing users to refine their search as they navigate using such criteria as budget, number of children and the presence of a car park or swimming pool.
Coral moves into Jordan
Dubai-based brand, Coral Hotels & Resorts, has unveiled details of its first property in Jordan. Michel Noblet, CEO, Hospitality Management Holdings, said: “We have signed a management contract for Coral Sadeen Amman which is an exceptional hotel centrally located in Wasfi Al-Tal (Gardens) Street merely 35 minutes drive from Amman International Airport.”
The hotel features 92 elegantly-appointed deluxe guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, two beautiful ballrooms, outstanding meeting facilities and up-to-date technology.
