BAHRAIN’S national carrier Gulf Air held a ribbon-cutting event at Bahrain International Airport to mark its inaugural flight to its newest destination – Alexandria in Egypt.
CEO Samer Majali greeted passengers joining the inaugural flight who received a commemorative certificate singed by Majali and the operating captain and first officer.
The service was launched as a permanent destination in the airline’s network in response to customer demand following the city’s success as a summer destination last year.
