INTERNATIONAL Wings Group (IWG), the region’s newest aviation holding company, has been launched in Jordan.
CEO Ahmad Abughazaleh said: “In a rapidly changing Middle Eastern aviation industry, with far more players and competition than ever before, consumers are entitled to expect benchmark service and protection from whichever business they deal with.
“With this thinking in mind, it gives me great pleasure to announce the establishment of IWG in Jordan with the aim of becoming the Middle East’s major aviation holding company.”
IWG is the parent company of Royal Jordanian Air Academy, Queen Noor Civil Aviation Technical College, Arab Wings and Gulf Wings.
The group provides aircraft mechanics schooling, pilot schooling and training, aircraft management, financing, sourcing and chartering.
