Imex America builds on partnership link

DESTINATION Marketing Association International (DMAI) has announced that Imex America is to become its newest Alliance partner.

The new role will further strengthen links between the two global organisations which date back eight years and confirms the endorsement of Imex America as the favoured large-scale incentives and meetings industry tradeshow for DMAI members.

Michael Gehrisch, pesident and CEO DMAI, said: “We anticipate that Imex America will continue to provide the same level of valuable global business opportunities our DMO members have come to expect when exhibiting at Imex in Frankfurt.

It will also assist our members in expanding their global reach through direct access to a new customer base.

“This move also continues our mutual focus on education. Imex has continued to be one of our industry’s most fervent supporters in reaching out to students and future leaders who want to make their career in the world of meetings and hospitality. DMAI looks forward to furthering this common goal through our contributions to Imex America’s educational programming.”

The new alliance partnership will allow Imex America, which launches at the Sands Expo, Las Vegas from October 11 to13, 2011, to roll out a series of extensive pre-show marketing campaigns to a large, qualified database of meetings industry professionals across the US.
