Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a franchise agreement with CL Capital for the 130-room Oxford Witney Hotel, which is expected to join the JdV by Hyatt brand by the end of 2026, marking the brand’s debut in the UK.
Located near Witney’s historic centre, around 15 miles west
of Oxford and close to the Cotswolds, the hotel is undergoing an extensive
transformation inspired by the town’s wool-making heritage and Arts &
Crafts tradition.
The property will feature 130 guestrooms, a restaurant and
bar sourcing local produce, and 1,205 sq ft of flexible meetings and events
space for up to 90 guests. InnPractice will operate the hotel.
“Bringing the JdV by Hyatt brand to the UK will be an
important milestone for the brand and a natural fit for Witney – a destination
