The Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa won with the Tourism Authority of Thailand's 'Outstanding Performance' award in the city hotels tourist accommodation category.
The award committee took several criteria into account in choosing the award recipient. These included the hotel's environmental policies, the quality of its guest service including health and safety, the measures put in place to encourage staff and guests to be conscious of the local environment and culture, its marketing communication activities, and level of conference and seminar facilities.
