Kona ... uncomplicated dishes |
“Kona is set to become a haven from the hustle and bustle of Victoria and St James,” the hotel’s general manager Digvijay Singh says. “It’s a place where not only our residents can retreat, but also where Londoners and visitors can indulge in sophisticated dining in a luxurious yet laid-back ambience.”
The restaurant is open for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. By pairing shades of grey and azure, the interior design comprises an elegant dining room with a homely, welcoming and exotic feel. The heritage of the Victorian townhouse, home to the restaurant, is well reflected as the décor creates a collage of luxurious furnishings and contemporary design.
Executive chef David Tilly, who has worked for the Taj Group since 2007, says: “We are proud to launch Kona during such an exciting time for the London food scene. Our mission is to present guests with uncomplicated dishes, which allow for locally sourced ingredients to take centre stage. Kona will prove a great addition to the hotel’s culinary offering.”***************************************************************************************************************************
