Zaya Nurai Island opens in the UAE capital

NESTLED in the glittering turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf, Zaya Nurai Island has now opened in the UAE capital. Located a 10-minute boat ride from Saadiyat Island, Zaya Nurai Island invites guests to enter the world of barefoot luxury, to relax and recharge in paradise, whether they chose to stay, dine, spa or play.

Born of the Arabic word ‘nur’ meaning ‘light’, Zaya Nurai Island is the flagship property of UAE’s home-grown company Zaya Hospitality. The vision is conceived out of the desire to create and nurture intimate communities.

The island consists of 32 ultra-luxury boutique beach villas as well as 23 residential water villas and beach estates. Each of the beach villas comes with a spacious private pool and patio with direct beach access, complimentary minibar, 24-hour stay benefit and state-of-the-art in-room facilities, as well as Aqua Di Parma amenities.

A dedicated butler will be available 24 hours and on hand to assist the guest throughout their stay, with the turndown service sporting inflatable chairs for the pool, flippers for the sea and picnic hampers for the beach. For those looking for privacy and spacious accommodation, the residential water villas and beach estates are an ideal choice, ranging from four-bedroom to six-bedroom villas.

“Barefoot luxury is all about leaving the world behind and stepping onto our paradise island, kicking off your shoes and just being yourself,” says Stephen Gee, director of operations for Zaya Nurai Island. “Throughout the island we have made sure that guests are pampered, but most of all that they really are able to relax and have fun during their time with us. Zaya Nurai Island is no ordinary retreat; it is a heavenly getaway with real personality and quirky touches.”
