Accor plans MGallery Hotel at Msheireb Downtown Doha

ACCOR and Msheireb Hospitality have joined forces to develop and manage an MGallery hotel in Doha. The MGallery will be a distinctive “boutique hotel” that will offer a modern interpretation of Qatari heritage and hospitality, within the prestigious Msheireb Downtown Doha, and will be located opposite the traditional Souq Waqif and yet close to the airport and Doha’s business districts. 

Msheireb Downtown Doha, the world’s first sustainable downtown regeneration project, will redevelop 31 hectares site in the historical city centre of Doha. The project aims to transform the old commercial and business district into the vibrant, cohesive and culturally alive city centre it once was.

Based on Qatar’s extremely high potential for hospitality and tourism, Doha appears as a priority market for the development of the Accor hotels network in the Middle East.”

This boutique hotel will be the first of its kind in Qatar. It will feature 215 rooms, and in addition to meeting facilities, an exclusive spa and a stunning outdoor pool. The property will offer original cafes and restaurants concepts as well as terraces overlooking unique views of the Mshereib district and the Souq Waqif. The hotel is on the design phase and it in progressing fast, with an anticipated opening scheduled in 2015.
