Oman Airports has launched its Intelligent Campus Showcase at Muscat International Airport, in partnership with global technology leader Huawei.
The
initiative represents a significant advancement in Oman's aviation sector
transformation, demonstrating a strategic commitment to developing more
intelligent, efficient and digitally connected airports that align with future
transportation needs, reported ONA.
This collaboration
underscores Oman Airports’ substantial investment in smart digital
infrastructure and sustainable technologies, positioning Oman as an emerging
regional hub for aviation innovation.
The move supports the
development of safer, smarter and more efficient airport operations that
benefit passengers, communities and the national economy.
The implemented
technologies will enhance the travel experience for Muscat International
Airport’s 40,000 daily passengers through reliable, high-speed connectivity
across all facilities, including waiting areas and check-in zones.
Additionally, the
initiative will strengthen security and safety protocols through advanced
surveillance systems and real-time data analytics capabilities.
According to Ahmed Al
