Sun Siyam Group and its Founder & Chairman, Ahmed Siyam, earned top honours at the Global Peace Hospitality Summit & Awards 2025 in Dubai.
Hosted by the Global Peace Institute (UK)
in collaboration with Impact Hub UAE, the summit gathered more than 200 leaders
and delegates from over 46 nations under the theme “Peace Through Hospitality.”
Siyam received three of the evening’s
highest distinctions, including the Golden Sail of Distinction and two Lifetime
Achievement Awards for Hospitality & Service Excellence and Entrepreneurship
& Business Innovation, the only recipient to receive all three prestigious
accolades.
The awards celebrated Siyam’s pioneering
contributions to transforming the Maldives into a world-class tourism
destination and his decades-long commitment to national development,
philanthropy, and youth empowerment. His leadership continues to inspire how
business, sustainability, and social progress can coexist to create meaningful
impact.
Alongside these individual accolades, Sun
Siyam was recognised with six major awards across its portfolio, further
cementing its position as a global leader in peace-led hospitality and
sustainable luxury.

Joining Siyam were his wife Soukayna Hadfi,
Vice President of Operations Abdulla Thamheed, and Assistant Group General
Manager & Sun Siyam Olhuveli General Manager, Hassan Adil, together with
members of the brand’s Middle East sales and PR representation team, proudly
showcasing the spirit of Maldivian hospitality.
The event also marked the launch of the
Golden Wing of Peace Movement, a new global initiative uniting leaders,
creators, and institutions around conscious leadership and community-focused
business.
The gala featured two Wings of Harmony
fashion showcases by Egyptian designer Nadine Ellithy, symbolising compassion,
culture, and creativity as universal elements of peace, and a keynote by General
Dr. Mohammed Al Shamsi, who emphasised the UAE’s growing role as a global
beacon of coexistence.
The Global Peace Institute (UK), an
independent non-profit promoting global peace, diplomacy, and education, has
previously held successful summits in London, Scotland, Singapore, Malaysia,
and Thailand. Its Dubai edition underscored the growing intersection between
hospitality and conscious leadership.
For Sun Siyam, these honours affirm a
