Aman, the ultra-luxury hospitality brand, has announced the launch of its newest destination, Aman Karingani, a high-end safari retreat located within Mozambique’s expansive 150,000-hectare Karingani Game Reserve. This debut marks Aman's second location in Africa, following Amanjena in Marrakech, and signals a significant expansion of its global portfolio.
Aman Karingani is situated on an elevated spot overlooking a sweeping expanse framed by distant mountains. The resort will feature 30 standalone pavilions, ranging from one to two bedrooms. Consistent with Aman’s signature aesthetic, these pavilions are designed for utmost comfort and privacy, each opening onto expansive covered decks complete with their own private pools and horizon views.
In addition to the resort component, Aman Karingani will offer a limited collection of three- to six-bedroom branded residences.
At the heart of the resort, a central Lodge will house a serene outdoor swimming pool overlooking the escarpment. Dining will be a key experience, showcasing a selection of Aman’s signature restaurant concepts alongside local flavours, enjoyed either by the fireside or under the stars.
Reflecting Aman’s holistic approach to wellbeing, the resort will also feature an Aman Spa equipped with facilities meticulously designed to foster restoration and connection to the spellbinding surrounds.
