Pioneer of the pay-in-airport lounge concept, The Travellers’ Lounge, has launched the world’s largest commercial lounge available to all passengers regardless of ticket class.

Featuring 15,000 sq ft of luxury, the lounge has tasteful designer furnishings and offers private members’club-style service including pre-flight pampering with a range of spa treatments.

The concept is the brainchild of Song Hoi See, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Lounge Management which has more than 10 years experience of operating and managing airport VIP lounges.

The company now operates in 12 international airports from Hong Kong and Beijing to Muscat and Vancouver.

The newly launched Hong Kong lounge can seat approximately 300 people and features a bar offering beverages and speciality coffees as well as freshly-baked pastries and home-made icecream.

For those with a  bigger appetite there is an all day buffet including signature dishes as well as healthy options and vegetarian and halal food.

Wireless hotspots are available throughout the lounge as well as a fully equipped business centre and a secluded library equipped with hi-tech meeting facilities and video conferencing system.

For those who simply want to chill-out, the Galleria offers extra-wide sofas, 24-hour a-la-carte menu and private resting suite with shower.

And for the ultimate in indulgence the in-lounge spa offers a full range of treatments.

“The aim is to give all travellers the ultimate pre-flight experience,” said Hoi See. “It is the fusion of innovation, creativity and designer luxury.”
