New NCT&H developments

Under the management of Danat Hotels & Resorts, the Tilal Liwa Hotel, from National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels, officially opened its doors last month.

The property is located on the edge of the Rub Al Khali in the sands of Liwa amid rolling dunes and an unspoiled desert landscape.

Tilal Liwa Hotel consists of 111 rooms and suites that are either facing the dunes of the Rub Al Khali or inwards overlooking the garden and pool.

National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCT&H), the government-run hotel developer and owner, is also committed to further developing hotels within the emirate of Abu Dhabi which will include Saadiyat Island Resort, which will be managed by one of the world’s elite brands, InterContinental Al Ain Resort redevelopment and refurbishment plus many more in the western area of Abu Dhabi.

NCT&H has also signed an agreement with Millennium and Copthorne Middle East, under the Grand Millennium brand, to manage and operate a new hotel in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, UAE.

The hotel is located on one of Abu Dhabi’s major city entrances, Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, and will feature 725 rooms, suites and apartments, 14 state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities as well as more than 10 international food and beverage outlets with a grand ballroom for up to 1,000 guests.

Furthermore, The Paris-based Hotel Le Bristol, which was voted the world’s best hotel last year, will bring its style to Abu Dhabi in 2012 in the brand’s first foray outside Europe, under the management of Oetker.

The ultra-luxury hotel, to be called Le Bristol Abu Dhabi, will be built on the western side of Abu Dhabi Island and have 250 rooms and suites. 

At GIBTM this year, apart from promoting Danat Hotels & Resorts products the company will promote its group spring promotions valid till May 10 to all UAE and GCC residents.
