ROUTES, the World Development Forum, has announced the launch of its third Routes Americas, which will be held on February 14 to 16, 2010 in Lima, Peru. Hosted by Lima Airport Partners (LAP), the event will attract more than 300 delegates from the air transport industry to the region. This will be the first time an airline/airport networking event has arrived at the heart of the Americas. Sallyanne Cliff, Routes Americas’ event leader said: “Peru’s central location within the region makes it an ideal destination for the third Routes Americas. Our event is the only network planning event that brings together the north, south and central America markets, and Lima is easily accessible for all of them.” The event will offer delegates two full days of focused airline/airport/tourism authority meetings. A Sunday conference will allow the discussion of industry topics relevant to the region. Routes facilitates and encourages the role of airports in the development of air services through organising global and region specific airline/airport networking forums. Regional events include Routes Americas, Routes Asia, Routes CIS, Routes Europe and Routes Africa.
