ACCOR Hospitality Middle East confirmed that the planned increase of its regional network is on track.
The hospitality group’s plans for the UAE includes the opening of a new luxury property, Sofitel Jumeirah Beach, at the end of September, the launch of the ibis Rigga within the first quarter of next year, and the entry of its new brand Pullman Hotels & Resorts, strategically linked to the Mall of the Emirates, by mid- 2010.
The recently opened Suitehotel Mall of the Emirates, consists of 180 spacious suites including 54 junior suites (48sq/m), 124 master bedrooms (31sq/m) and two special needs rooms. The hotel offers a 24/7 deli boutique with freshly made food, as well as Italian cuisine at Amici restaurant.
Christophe Landais, managing director, Accor Hospitality Middle East said: “Accor is a recognised leader in the hospitality industry and we intend to further strengthen our position in the region by developing our core brands. Our target is to operate 44 hotels across nine Middle Eastern countries by 2011.”
