THE Anantara Baan Rajprasong Serviced Suites, the latest property in Thailand under the Anantara brand is offering a city break deal for shoppers to Bangkok.
Located in a quiet street closed to through traffic, the property is 100 m away from the main road and the Ratchadamri Bangkok mass transport system (BTS) sky train station. Guests taking this city break package will receive a one-day pass on the BTS sky train which can be used to experience the ultimate shopping thrills in Bangkok.
The package, valid until October 31, is priced at 5,400 baht ($205) per one bedroom suite per night. It also includes a complimentary upgrade if staying for more than two nights. The package includes a daily American breakfast, free internet access, fully equipped kitchen, free use of fitness centre, swimming pool, sauna and steam room and free one day pass BTS sky train tickets for two people.
The price is subject to government tax.
Destinations along the sky train stations shoppers could explore include Siam Square and Rajprasong Intersection, a cosmopolitan shopping district offering luxurious brands, unique collections by local designers, and cheap and chic street wares. The Chatuchak Weekend Market known locally as JJ market is Thailand’s ultimate shopping hub, selling all kinds of goods at competitive prices.
 Nana is a vibrant shopping area that has a number of souvenir shops, furniture showrooms and high-quality tailors creating made-to-measure dresses and suites. Promphong offers the Emporium Shopping complex and the Silom and Sathorn areas offer a variety of restaurants and bars.
