THE Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai will have a brand new look and a whole new range of signature facilities by August this year as the hotel undergoes a Dh22 million renovation exercise by owner The First Investor.
Located on Khalid bin Walid Street, this mid scale full service hotel has long been a familiar retreat in the Bur Dubai neighbourhood. The 125 guest rooms will be transformed, incorporating all signature elements of the Four Points brand including a warm ambience through colour (deep red, light blue or light green). The relaxed feeling is further enhanced by the American walnut door and wall claddings; oak desk, coffee table, night stands and a carved wood for a textured headboard. The open bathroom concept creates a sense of seamlessness from bedroom to bathroom and chaise lounge provides a simple alternative to the traditional sofa set.
“In addition to the guest rooms, the lobby and the two food and beverage outlets, La Terrace and The Promenade will also undergo renovations and refurbishment. New facilities to be introduced with the change will be the Four Points family room and club lounge, which offer communal space, maximising guest interactions and relaxation,” says Sanjeev Gohlan, general manager, Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai.
The hotel’s other two popular food and beverage outlets Antique Bazaar Indian Restaurant and The Viceroy English Pub will remain open throughout the renovation period.
The hotel also offers state-of-the-art conference facilities and alternatively, smaller function rooms for fewer numbers. Recreational facilities include a fully equipped gymnasium, outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi and a rejuvenating range of massage treatments.
