THE patron of the fifth Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC) being held in Dubai from May 2 to 4, will continue to be His Highness Shaikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline and Group.
More than 100 industry leaders are expected to take to the stage at the upcoming, three day forum to debate the strategies required to combat the global meltdown.
The 2009 conference includes a summit with a spotlight on Saudi Arabia, networking receptions, and top speakers including HRH Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, chairman of the board, Secretary General of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA); Dr Henry Azzam, CEO Middle East & North Africa, Deutsche Bank AG; Paul Griffiths, CEO, Dubai Airports; Sarmad Zok, CEO Kingdom Hotel Investments and Sheikh Fawaz Alhokair, chairman and founder, Fawaz Alhokair Group.
