Costa Cruises is offering seven night sailings from Dubai on selected dates until April, starting at $799 per person.
The special fares are available on the Costa Classica and Costa Victoria. Both ships sail seven night routes that include two overnights in Dubai and visits to other destinations including Muscat, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain.
The Costa Victoria departs on Saturdays from Dubai while the Costa Classica departs on Sundays. Costa is the first and only international cruise line to homeport in Dubai and has increased its capacity in the region by 50 percent each year since it began routes from there in December 2006.
Sailings aboard the Costa Victoria started in December and the dates for the coming months are: January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; February 7, 14, 21, 28; March 7, 14, 21, 28; and April 4 and 11. The same fare is available on the Costa Classica on the following sail dates: January 4, 11, 18, 25; February 1, 8, 15, 22; and March 1.
The Costa Victoria built in 1996 and refurbished in 2004 reflects Italian décor and hospitality, and blends functionality with a modern avant-garde design. There are indoor and outdoor pools, the Pompei Spa the Planetarium Atrium spanning seven decks,
It can carry 1,928 passengers taking double occupancy and 790 crew. Of the 964 cabins, six are available for guests with special needs.
