ALDAR Properties announced the signing of an agreement with Mِvenpick Hotels & Resorts for the operation of an upscale resort hotel in the Al Seef precinct on the Al Raha Beach development.
This is the second hotel property to be developed and built by Aldar as part of a strategic alliance between the two companies which includes the development of three hotels in Abu Dhabi on Aldar projects.
The new project will be an island resort with 300 rooms in the residential precinct of Al Seef, in Al Raha Beach. The first hotel to be developed as part of the deal concluded in 2007 is a 500 room luxury hotel on Yas Island which is due to open in late 2010.

Al Seef will have a variety of contemporary apartments, family townhouses and prestigious villas, converging onto a boardwalk promenade. Al Seef precinct will contain waterfront and island properties and will have direct beach access.
In addition to the upscale Movenpick Hotel, Al Raha Beach Abu Dhabi, Al Seef will also have courtyard summer houses, designer boutiques, dining precincts and rejuvenating spas plus an offering of outdoor water sport activities. Visitors will have acces to canal side eateries, boulevard or the arabesque retail terrace shops or relax in the floral gardens.
