Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts is beefing up the regional team at its Dubai headquarters with two new appointments in Sales & Marketing and Human Resources.
Khamis Kazzaz has been appointed director of sales for the GCC with responsibility for supervising sales throughout the Gulf. He joins from the Hyatt Regency, Dubai where he was business development manager. The 28-year-old Jordanian holds a Diploma in Hospitality Management from Michigan University, USA. Another Jordanian, Ghosoun Al Qadi, takes up the post of regional training & human resources manager, with a brief to train and develop Radisson SAS hotel staff region-wide. Her duties also involve the implementation of corporate training programmes on customer service, supervisory skills and leadership enhancement. Al Qadi, 31, joins from the Radisson SAS hotels in Jordan, where she was regional HR coordinator, Middle East. "The regional team backs-up and supports all hotels in the region ensuring business in our existing hotels remains strong," said Thorsten Kirschke, regional director - Middle East and China.
