Better Homes launches hotel project

The spiralling cost of hotels in Dubai has influenced a growing number of affordable accommodation operators to enter the market.

Among these is Emerald Apartments, operated by Better Homes’ short-term rentals division.
Speaking of the new venture prior to its launch at the Arabian Travel Market exhibition in Dubai, manager of Better Homes Short-term rentals division Tatjana Drief said: “This is a very exciting development for us. Dubai has become the most expensive place in the world to book a hotel room and we recognised a gap for high quality living at a more affordable price. The key to Emerald apartments is that clients can stay in comfort and avail of all the usual facilities without paying for services they wouldn't have consumed.'
Scheduled to open in mid-June the brand's new fully furnished apartments offer a central location within close proximity of Dubai Healthcare city, all of the major business districts and Dubai International Airport, said an official spokesman.
Each apartment comes with fully equipped kitchen, plasma TV and DVD player plus IDD and internet facilities. Guests will also be able to take advantage of the building's swimming pool and gym.
Although targeted at the business community, the apartments will also appeal to leisure travellers and families owing to the fact they provide such value for money without compromising on standards of quality or comfort.
