MHR Collections celebrates the 10th anniversary of its establishment with an impressive track record including growth from 20 to over 260 hotels.

As a leading service provider for individual hotels, resorts and private hotel chains, the company said that for the third quarter of 2006, MHR Collections generated over 24,090 room nights through its global distribution systems, 25 per cent  over Q3 2005.
“This increase in reservations translates into a 50-per-cent increase in revenue for MHR Collections over 2006 and the results not only confirm MHR’s commitment to its partners and a proven, results-orientated approach to promoting hotels, but also that through MHR’s extensive network and substantial resources in sales and marketing and technology, hotels have been able to secure higher room rates and have achieved revenue maximisation for their hotels,” says a company statement.
By bridging the gap between the hotel and the global market, hotels are able to reach new global corporate and leisure travellers and achieve instant recognition by being aligned with high profile hotels throughout the world. “For 10 years, MHR’s basic philosophy has been to provide quality service on a personal level,” says Lefteris Sergidis, general manager. “We have never lost sight of our partners’ needs and have continued to strengthen each hotel’s presence to achieve brand recognition on the same playing field as a large management chain.” In today’s global market, a combination of collaborative marketing strategies, comprehensive world-wide reservat-ions solutions, innovative sales rep-resentation and technical consulting services is essential, he says.
"Over the next five years we are poised for strategic acquisitions of new affiliate hotel contracts in growing urban centres across Asia and the Americas and the acquisition of new affiliate GSA contracts adding to the existing 30 general sales offices worldwide, that promote and sell MHR affiliated properties to their local market. We celebrate our 10th anniversary by looking to increase the MHR portfolio and further improve the services we provide. If the past 10 years is any indication, MHR can indeed look forward to a bright future,” Sergidis says.
