THE Clinique La Prairie in Montreux, Switzerland, is offering a seven-day revitalising package this winter that promises to slow down the ageing process of cells and reactivate cell division. Rates range from Dh80,000 ($21,780) per one-week all-inclusive package.
Prices depend on the type of room and whether for one person or two.
The treatment is generally recommended after the age of 40 when symptoms like loss of energy, loss of memory and insomnia start appearing and the immune system needs a boost.
The first day of the package starts on a Sunday. Upon arrival at the airport, the clinic limousine drives the guest directly to Montreux. Once settled in the room, the guest is served a meal at the gastronomic and dietetic restaurant (controlled diet) and receives detailed information about her daily programme.
On the second and third day, a thorough medical examination will be performed to establish a health profile and a consultation with the physician in charge is scheduled. The clinic also makes a presentation on the different services and treatments offered.
The fourth and fifth is the beginning of the Revitalization treatment. The patient will receive the first intramuscular injection of CLP Extract on Wednesday and the second one on Thursday. The patient needs to stay quiet in the room for two hours, the remainder of the day is at the guest’s leisure. Over the whole stay, the guest can benefit from any alternative treatments ‘a la carte’, such as beauty care, fitness, massages and any other specialized medical consultations.
Continuation and the end of all specialized treatments with a status report and an individual analysis is given on the sixth day with a consultation with your personal physician. This helps maintain your health, well-being and quality of life you have just acquired at the clinic to add quality to your years.
“70 per cent of CLP patients usually come back to CLP every 18 to 24 months to repeat the treatment, which indicates that the results of the treatment are more than satisfying to the patients,” says a corporate statement.
Other services that Clinique La Prairie offers includes a complete medical check-up, personal training in fitness, nutrition with weight management, aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery, as well as several medical specialties and paramedical services.
“Clinique La Prairie in Switzerland a pioneer in this field, but also among the world-wide references in the field of preventive medicine that delays ageing and reference for scientific research on ageing,” says the statement. “Created in 1931, Clinique La Prairie was a pioneer in cellular therapy research and the first to administer the unique Revitalization treatment. The CLP Extract injected during the Revitalization program is produced at the clinic’s laboratory and administered at Clinique La Prairie in Montreux only.”
