Bloom said: “I am very pleased to be in the lovely Dubai Stand and see the successful participation of Dubai in the exhibition for the third successive year. Dubai has been building itself as an international destination and expanding its already exciting infrastructure.”
He said: “Dubai is very important for the IMEX which enjoys leadership position in the MICE industry. Dubai and DTCM are enjoying excellent reputation worldwide. Dubai has already established itself firmly on the world MICE destination map. It is working towards improving its inspiring performance.”
Bin Sulayem, said: “The Dubai Stand has remained the cynosure of all eyes at the IMEX 2005 as the global MICE industry professionals and hosted buyers expresses their strong and unfaltering interest in Dubai and its world-class infrastructure.”
He added: “With our strong and continued presence in IMEX, we were able to showcase our abilities and resources to host big-size meetings and events. The world is increasingly acknowledging our hard work and commitment to the tourism industry in general and MICE sector in particular.”
Dubai is participating in the IMEX right from its beginning three years ago and this year’s stand had 56 co-participants from emirate’s booming tourism industry.
