Kerten Hospitality, the dynamic player in the bespoke hospitality sector headquartered in Ireland, has announced the appointment of Giacomo Nicolodi as the new Group Marketing Communications Director.
Nicolodi, with an impressive career spanning fashion, art, and lifestyle, is set to shape how Kerten Hospitality connects with its global audiences by placing creativity, culture, and community at the forefront.
Nicolodi is also set to spearhead the launch of a new hotel brand in 2025, one that will reimagine the guest experience through a contemporary lens. Additionally, Kerten Hospitality is placing a significant emphasis on Branded Residences, which will integrate partnerships with leading brands across fashion, design, automotive, sports, and lifestyle sectors. These collaborations will create unique, lifestyle-driven residences that reflect the essence of the partnering brands.
As CEO Marloes Knippenberg states: “Our vision is to develop integrated living communities that are deeply intertwined with the local environment and culture in every region we enter. We’re enthusiastic about expanding further into Europe and North Africa, particularly Morocco, where we see exciting opportunities for growth and connection.”
A fresh perspective rooted in experience
Nicolodi's journey to Kerten Hospitality is anything but conventional. Starting his career with OTB Group in fashion, he quickly made his mark with his modern vision and meticulous attention to detail. His experience working with Cardi Gallery in London and Milan, alongside esteemed global brands, honed his storytelling and brand positioning expertise, essential for standing out in today’s competitive landscape.
Nicolodi's creative instincts, refined in fashion and art, will now pivot into the world of hospitality. "Hospitality is a canvas where culture, artistry, and human connection come together," Nicolodi says. "I’m excited to support Kerten Hospitality’s brands to become not just places to stay but vibrant parts of the local culture and community."
A vision for growth and authenticity
Now based in Dubai, Nicolodi’s role will encompass not just orchestrating marketing campaigns, but ensuring a unified and authentic brand voice across all Kerten Hospitality properties.
His global outlook aligns perfectly with Kerten Hospitality’s mission to expand into new markets, while respecting and integrating the unique cultural nuances of each destination.
“We are not just building hotels; we’re creating meaningful connections,” he adds. His approach focuses on bridging travellers and local cultures through curated, authentic experiences, fostering real community engagement that drives brand loyalty.
Exciting new openings and growth strategy
As Nicolodi steps into his role, Kerten Hospitality is also gearing up for two highly anticipated launches. The much-awaited Cloud 7 in Rome is set to open in January 2025, blending contemporary design with the rich history of the Eternal City, including a bespoke art project that celebrates Rome’s cultural heritage.
Closer to home, Dar Tantora – The House Hotel in AlUla continues to offer a unique and immersive experience that reflects the stunning landscapes and cultural richness of Saudi Arabia. “Both properties reflect our commitment to integrating modern hospitality with local authenticity. We’re excited to invite guests to discover these destinations through the lens of Kerten Hospitality’s community-first ethos,” says Nicolodi.--TradeArabia News Service
