Swiss Inter-national Air Lines, Switzerland's national carrier, has launched an e-booking solution through its regional office in Dubai.
The service, which is currently available for UAE-based passengers ,allows for booking and purchase of tickets on-line, with delivery to customers within 48 hours.

prices through www.swiss.com and www.travelswiss.com, Swiss' UAE travel portal. Free delivery of the tickets to customers, creates a time and cost-effective solution for passengers travelling to Switzerland and beyond, a spokesman said.
Felix Rodel, area manager for the Middle East, Pakistan and Iran, said: “We have seen a 10 per cent growth in
e-ticket purchases from our UAE website over the last year and the trend has continued during the first quarter of 2004. We wanted to ensure that our new system would provide customers with the best option on pricing, the convenience of e-booking and the choice of having the ticket delivered to them prior to departure or available for collection at the airport.”
