Visitors to DSF 2004 will enjoy an improved quality of service designed to make the experience of DSF more enjoyable, relaxed and fun, said organisers.
The announcement came as Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of the Department of Civil Aviation, Chairman of the Emirates Group and Chairman of the DSF Supreme Committee, presented the calendar of events at a Press conference onboard Bateaux Dubai, at Al Aseef Road.
"Dubai Shopping Festival has, through recent years become a symbol of the UAE's regional and international commitment to be a centre of human civilisation, culture and diversity founded on our strong history, principles and heritage," he said.
"Through this event, the UAE as a whole, are given a mean by which the country can present its people and their lifestyle to a global audience. DSF has become an expression of social and cultural interaction, as nations from all over the world unite in this fun and wholesome environment. We will continue on our mission to present the true face of this region in all aspects."

"Launched in 1996 by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, DSF was one of several initiatives aimed to enhance and improve the economy and boost the public profile of Dubai.
