The improved frequencies takes effect with the introduction of its new winter flight schedule. A report in Khaleej Times said that according to the new winter flight schedule, two morning flights - on Thursdays and Sundays - would connect with other flights to the Middle East, Europe and the US and three evening flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays would connect to the Indian subcontinent and Far East. The morning flights will provide convenient connections to Amman, Beirut, Damascus, Cairo, Alexandria, New york, Chicago, London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Geneva, Rome and Paris, said the report. The evening flights will provide connections to Dhaka, Colombo, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Trivandrum, Cochin, Jakarta and Manila.
