Salalah lures Mideast visitors

Salalah’s lure as a Middle East getaway destination is being boosted by a link-up between Hilton International, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts and a newly launched air charter service from Dubai.

Hilton Salalah Resort and the newly renovated Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah, have joined forces to promote Oman’s tropical oasis resort, which is now within reach from Dubai with twice-weekly direct flights operated by Muscat Aviation Services in association with Phoenix Aviation.
The new service using a 123-seater Boeing 737, has flights leaving Dubai on Wednesday at 4.15pm and returning to Dubai on Friday at 10.30pm with eight business and 115 economy class seats.
Hilton Salalah Resort is the city’s newest five-star hotel and a sanctuary for visitors seeking a short or a long break from the hectic pace of urban life. The deluxe 147-room property is situated on a private beachfront surrounded by bougainvilleas and stretches of white beach.
