WTM Preview Marriott to make biggest showing November 2003 488 Share Marriott is to return to World Travel Market (WTM), after an absence of several years, with the largest stand it has ever exhibited in Europe, at 92 sqm. The stand has several ‘zones’ in its glass two-tier structure: a meeting zone, a café zone, and bar zone, plus the upper level for more privacy. The stand also features plasma screens showing images of hotels from all of Marriott’s brands.“We are delighted to be returning to World Travel Market this year, and representatives from all of Marriott’s hotel brands, including Marriott Hotels, Resorts & Suites, JW Marriott Hotels, Renaissance Hotels and Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments will be attending the show. Hotels from around 65 countries will attend to meet with clients from both the business and leisure travel sectors,” said John Licence, vice-president sales and marketing, Europe. Representatives from many newly-opened hotels will be attending, including the recently opened Denia Marriott la Sella Golf Resort & Spa, Spain and the JW Grande Lakes Resort & Spa in Florida. Also attending will be representatives of the West India Quay Marriott Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments, which are scheduled to open mid 2004 in London Docklands.
