The new Destination Dubai book is launched at the WTM.

The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing's (DTCM) director operations and marketing, Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb, officially released the 2003 edition of Destination Dubai, an exhaustive manual for the international travel trade professional, at a special ceremony organized on the Dubai stand at World Travel Market in London.

"Destination Dubai is the DTCM's flagship publication for the international travel trade," said Hareb, talking to reporters at the venue. "It provides extensive information about the emirate's tourism facilities and services and offers overseas tour operators all the information they need to put together a Dubai package from any corner of the world."

The 108-page manual covers all aspects of the Dubai tourist experience. There is a general information section detailing important aspects of travel to Dubai including history, culture, population, visa and customs regulations, health requirements, climate, clothing and lifestyle as well as a city map.

In addition to the English language version, the manual will also be printed in German, French and Russian language versions shortly.
