The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) shelter presented a certificate of appreciation to Mövenpick Hotel Deira for its efforts in raising awareness of domestic violence, child abuse and human trafficking. The hotel organised a charity event, ‘A Kilo of Kindness for a Treat of Ice Cream’, as part of Mövenpick’s global sustainability programme Shine. Ninety kilos of goods were collected through the #AKiloOfKindness campaign and the hotel gave free Mövenpick ice cream as a gesture of appreciation to contributors.
