Cancellation insurance launched

Gateway, a leading online hotel engine content wholesaler, has established itself as a pioneer in the market by introducing cancellation insurance for hotel bookings.

For every hotel reservation made in Gateway2Travel, insurance can now be added for a nominal fee starting from Dh35 ($9.50). The low insurance fee is available for an entire booking regardless of the number rooms booked. The option can also be set as default for every booking made through the system.

Shahjahan Syed, regional sales manager GCC and the Middle East for Gateway, says: “With the cancellation insurance, agents can now avoid cancellation costs. Once the insurance option is selected, agents will be able to cancel the booking until the day of check-in without providing any reason.”
