The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Beirut, Lebanon, has outsourced its visa application process to VFS Global. People who wish to apply for a visa to Cyprus can now do this at the new centrally located visa application centre managed by VFS Global. While VFS Global will accept visa applications, the embassy will continue to assess and adjudicate all visas applications.
While inaugurating the centre, ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Lebanon, Homer A. Mavrommatis reiterated that Cyprus remains one of the most popular destinations among the Lebanese. This move aims to further increase the incoming flows of tourists to Cyprus.
The advantages that the Cypriot touristic product has to offer are numerous: clean beaches, safe environment, friendly people, high-quality but budget resorts as well and good weather conditions throughout the year, just to name a few.
Ajit Alexander, chief operating officer Middle East and Africa, VFS Global added, “The launch of the Cyprus visa application centre in Beirut will offer a convenient visa application submission experience to the residents in the country. We are committed to delivering a professional service to all applicants and travel agents in the country.”
VFS Global has been serving the Republic of Cyprus since 2010 with visa application processing in UAE.
